The following are photographs from a highly controversial (and for us, exciting) performance currently touring Nepal, Our Dreams and Them. The performance aims to prepare people for the tasks ahead in continuing the Nepalese revolution, and speaks on debates within the Maoist party on continuing that revolution. It has been called "a call to the people and a warning to our leaders." These photos give a taste of this performance that inspired us so deeply. Photos by Eric Ribellarsi and Thomas van Beersum.

A previous report by Liam Wright has explored this performance. It is also available in Greek.

Yesterday, a small group of Gaza solidarity protestors in Greece came out to stand with the people of Gaza after the attack on the freedom flotilla. They were met with hundreds of riot police armed with clubs and riot shields. They blocked protestors into the subway, and refused to allow them to demonstrate. When protestors decided that they would protest in front of the Israeli embassy instead, they were blocked once again. These are photos from that demonstration.

Exarchia is a center of radicalism in the heart of Athens. It is also a leftist taggers’ paradise. The quality of the art is consistently high and consistently political. The city seems to leave the area alone, not bothering to remove it as in other areas. Almost every ground level wall has work on it. These are just a few pieces we have photographed.
